Dave was one of the original members of our bretheran and joined the KOBOZ football league in 1998. He was active at league events until his death in 2005. He was not the most active or vocal owner on the message board... in fact we commented often about that lack of internet interaction. When we think about him, we can still hear people quote Cheech and Chong "Dave's not here, man". It is also true that he wasn't the most knowledgeable football owner in league history... he didn't check his lineup every week... in fact he once made it all the way to the championship without ever changing his lineup. But one thing is absolutely certain.... David was a true blue KOBOZnian. 

Dave NEVER missed a KOBOZ draft, meeting or any scheduled in-person event He was always the first to offer help, lend a hand or open his wallet if someone needed something. He was a kidder, a jokester and had a great sense of humor. He didn't care if he won or lost, as long as people were having a good time. Dave was all about the event and looked forward being part of the group... as we enjoyed him being with us. He will always be here, and he will always be in our hearts. Our friend, Dave Kolstad,  the "Jack of hearts".
